Geo Claw - XC

IRCbike.com

The Geo Claw XC tire offers a reliable and efficient ride. Boasting tubeless ready technology, reinforced sidewalls, and 120 TPI casing, this tire conforms to the trail. Alternating chamfered center nobs roll fast, while high-grip compound and micro-knobs add traction and puncture protection. Continuous shoulder nobs provide confident and predictable cornering.

Fun tire

2.4 geo claws pretty solis, put as back tire on trail bike and fr/rear on xc bike. Better grip then fast trak or ground control, little heavier but burlier sidewalls. Coming from fast trak fr/rear these are much more confidence inspiring on the trail and seem to roll similarly.

Geo Claw 29x2.4

I bought a Geo Claw for my rear wheel trail bike. The specifics of our trails force us to use a tire with a slightly better roll than the installed Vittoria Maze tires. The IRC Geo Claw is lighter and rolls better on hard trail surfaces. If your trails don't have very steep segments, are hard surfaced, and don't have a lot of mud, the Geo Claw will roll well and add some speed to your climbs.

However, on difficult technical sections during climbs, the Geo Claw lacks the softness of the compound for grip on roots. Sometimes the tire slips where the softer Vittoria Maze tread provides good grip. You need to accurately select the pressure in the rear wheel. And when climbing, be careful not to unnecessarily unload the rear wheel.

Very durable and good to me in muddy conditions. Haven’t run them in dry conditions just yet.

Great choice for me

The best tires I've ever had. Excellent cornering, good on hard surfaces, good in wet conditions.
