Boken Doublecross 42

IRC

Gravel = Doublecross

As its name implies, the Boken Doublecross is a dual-sport tire. It is a CX race tire and an aggressive all-conditions gravel tire.

Our engineers optimized the tread pattern for each size. The 38mm and 42mm have a fast-rolling center tread for gravel and adventure riding paired with burly side knobs that hook up when the gnar gets gnarly. With more bite than our file-tread Boken, the Boken Doublecross 38 and 42 give you superior performance on loose, rough, or loamy terrain.

The 33mm Doublecross gives you that bite you need in high-torque CX racing and tight cornering. With a multitude of small blocks across the entire tread surface, the Doublecross 33 is a dream for off-camber riding and cornering.

IRC tires are game changer!!

I thought all tires would be pretty much the same from brand to brand. But I was wrong and IRC are the bomb! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
This is my 3rd season doing gravel and I have been riding on panaracer Gravelking SK+, I’ve tried 42’s, they felt ok but too big and settled for the 38 but couldn’t get used to lower than 40PSI. I can run 25-28PSI on my 42 DoubleCross they feel solid and super comfortable without bottoming out and hitting the rim on rocky sections. I believe this is due to the sidewall of the IRC being so strong that you can run lower pressure without sacrifying control over comfort. Looking forward to Unbound 2024!!

Broken Doublecross 42

Got a couple rides on the new tires, they seem to roll very good and no issues with traction. Looking forward to testing them out at Stetina's paydirt!

Spring Mud Champ

Just installed and appreciated the note with the suggestion which psi to run. Took them out on a very muddy trail; impressive handling and good ride. Going to enjoy the spring rides definitely.

Good overall tire

I live in Arizona where you’ll experience various terrain from packed dirt, loos gravel, sand and mud. This tire performed well in all areas with little to no traction loss with the exception of loose sand. The tire would loose traction in fairly sandy conditions.

Smooth

First ride on the broken double cross was on asphalt very smooth. Had a note what psi to run them at worked great for me
