The Boken DoubleCross is a dual-sport tire. This tire excels on both gravel and pavement an aggressive all-conditions gravel tire.

Our engineers optimized the tread pattern for the 42mm to have a fast-rolling center tread for gravel and adventure riding paired with burly side knobs that hook up when the gnar gets gnarly. With more bite than our file-tread Boken, the Boken DoubleCross 42 give you superior performance on loose, rough, or loamy terrain.

Strengths:
Versatility: This tire excels on both gravel and pavement. It has a fast-rolling center tread for smooth surfaces and aggressive side knobs for digging into loose terrain.

Grip:
The burly side knobs provide excellent grip in corners, on loose climbs, and through technical sections.

Durability:
The DoubleCross with Ballistic nylon side walls is known for its toughness and puncture resistance.

Comfort:

Unbound Tested - Broken Double Cross

These tires have been on my Checkpoint all year but the biggest test of them came last weekend with Unbound 200. Going into the race, a lot of folks were recommending a 45c or higher tire but I was confident the 42 was enough, especially if I ran them at the right pressure. Proud to say no issues with punctures and they rode great over the challenging terrain. Good grip in the sticky mud and through the downhill turns. Tire pressure runs a bit lower(2-3 psi) then recommended. Highly recommend these for any terrain.
