The Packing Notes Rule…

I’m not going to talk about the tire compound or the tread pattern; I’m going to talk about the fact that I get a handwritten note from whomever “Steve” is that tells me “thank you” and we are happy that you chose to spend your money with IRC and let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you with your purchase.

That’s what I want in my life: advocates for the purchase whom want to engage with me as I engage with them in my bike riding adventures.

I choose IRC Tires because of intangible reasons: They are a Japanese rubber company; They are a Toyota Land Cruiser supplier (IRC= INOAC Rubber Corporation); they have been consistent in the experience of doing simple business: I pay, they deliver.

The dude Steve who writes nice notes is the added touch.

When I did shipping many, many moons ago, I also used to write notes to my customers thanking them and making sure they knew there was a human in the warehouse who cared about the experience.

AI will never replace that.

Thanks IRC. 🤘🤘⚙️⚙️

Excellent tires.Very low rolling resistance. Light weight. Great grip on corners. Great grip on rooty, rocky climbs. Excellent tire all around!

Fun tire

2.4 geo claws pretty solis, put as back tire on trail bike and fr/rear on xc bike. Better grip then fast trak or ground control, little heavier but burlier sidewalls. Coming from fast trak fr/rear these are much more confidence inspiring on the trail and seem to roll similarly.

Geo Claw 29x2.4

I bought a Geo Claw for my rear wheel trail bike. The specifics of our trails force us to use a tire with a slightly better roll than the installed Vittoria Maze tires. The IRC Geo Claw is lighter and rolls better on hard trail surfaces. If your trails don't have very steep segments, are hard surfaced, and don't have a lot of mud, the Geo Claw will roll well and add some speed to your climbs.

However, on difficult technical sections during climbs, the Geo Claw lacks the softness of the compound for grip on roots. Sometimes the tire slips where the softer Vittoria Maze tread provides good grip. You need to accurately select the pressure in the rear wheel. And when climbing, be careful not to unnecessarily unload the rear wheel.
